Took a drive around Montreal, so many interesting places to see. I have taken so many photos whilst I have been here it will take a while to sift through them all!
It is such a diverse city and the French influence can be seen all around. Did you know Montreal was the first city in North America to be recognised by UNESCO City of Design by the Global Alliance for Cultural Diversity? More soon!

Hi everyone! Needed some XC skis and a fat bike for this trip so I rented them from Max Ski Service. The guys there were super helpful and they even let me 'backstage' to their workshop.
Tried out XC skis -they are so tough even on XC specific trails - full cardio workout! A fun change from downhill skiing and snowboarding which I am more used to. I have a fun fat bike project that I will have more on soon. Turns out trails made out of snow are just as much fun as dirt! More soon... A glimpse into the life of me - wandering around capturing everything. Hitting the slopes soon so hopefully can pull some good footage together to show the best of what Quebec has to offer, or maybe I will end up with a crash reel!
So nice to be up in the mountains, so much fresh air and cold crisp days. Looking forward to exploring what Quebec has to offer! More soon! Literally the dream! Landed in Montreal and found this supermarket close by. The best selection of food - if only they had more like this in the UK. Everything looks so good, definitely a healthy week ahead. So fresh and as far as you could see. Keeping me fuelled for a big week ahead!
No bikes for me at the moment but hoping my new bike will be delivered soon!! Guess what colours I have chosen? Also so started my Instagram going so keep a lookout for that - @naturallyniamh More soon! Hi everyone! I have been so bad with the blog the past few days with lots of things happening! One of those was trying out a Canon 60D at a Kona video shoot this week alongside Thomas and Glen. What a great camera! I really like the composure of the photos between action shots and close up natural photos. These photos were taken to try and capture just how cold this weather is! Will have some photos up soon of the shoot too!
More soon! New year new bag! Saw this rucksack in the Bike Shop Scotland and just couldn't resist the colour! I will get some proper photos of the bag soon but the straps and fit is the best part of the rucksack. Not sure what colours to match it with yet so for now I will be wearing black and grey. I have not tried any of Dakine's products before so it will be interesting to see how the bag lasts over the year.
The best part of this rucksack is something I have had issues with on bags since I started riding bikes - the position of the horizontal straps. Whilst this bag is not female specific it does have straps higher than most bags and so sit far more comfortably. Another feature is the waterproof cover that stores in the bottom of the bag, but it's luminous yellow, so I think I'll keep it for commuting and muddy trails! For the moment though that might mean I will be using it a lot #rain More soon! |
