Hi everyone, time for #snapshotsunday - this time taking a quick look at the Kona Process 153.
This is the Kona Process 153 2016 (the full spec is available here) which comes with a 6061 aluminium frame, WTB 650B wheels and a Rockshox / SRAM setup on suspension and drivetrain. I normally ride the DL but it was fun to give this bike a try to see the differences. My previous bike was a 29er so I initially thought I may have more difficulty on the climb, however I have not noticed the difference. I find all the Process range to be stable on the trails I have ridden, and I find the bike has good handling on varied trails. With 150mm travel, this bike suits most UK Enduro trails, with the Rockshox Monarch shock and Pike forks soaking up even the steepest of trails and drops you may encounter. The bike as a whole has the same frame as the more expensive DL just with different components, however for the price (RRP £2999), it really is a great bike. Overall all the Process range are well designed, stable bikes that inspire confidence in the rider when they are tackling the toughest of trails.
