Hi everyone! As I said before, I took a LOT of photos, so here is part 2. The first picture is my favourite of the weekend as it is of one of many Canadian flags flying in tribute of Steve Smith. There was a tribute organised mid race for Stevie in which there was a silent run in his honour. As the cameras crossed the finish line the atmosphere at the arena was incredible, with it evident how much Stevie had, in so many different ways, affected people's lives.
The race itself was action packed with it all down to Gee, who had a crash at the last moment, sealing the top spot for Greg Minnaar. Greg had held the top spot with an initial 6 second lead on the previous hot seat rider, with Eddie Masters making a number of mistakes on track, resulting in a bunch of crashes. Next up is Glenlivet SES and hopefully the dry weather remains so the trail centre style stages run fast. More soon!
