Hi everyone! This weeks Snapshot Sunday is a first look at the new Kona HeiHei Race DL 29. The 2017 HeiHei features full carbon frame that weighs in at around 1800g (size M) and features the Fuse Independent Suspension design, eliminating the need for a pivot at the chainstay seatstay. The bike continues to feature a low standover with SRAM Centerline / GX / Guide components and Maxxis Maxlite 29 Tyres. The suspension setup is 100mm front and rear with the RockShox Monarch RL and Reba RL.
This HeiHei joins the race line mid range, and is ready to handle anything from technical XC courses to the local trails. One benefit that is extremely basic yet super important for most riders is frame space for a bottle cage, by comparison with the Process range which only allows a bottle under the frame. This bike will be Thomas's training bike in the coming months, and I am looking forward to seeing more of this years 2017 Kona range especially the other HeiHei Trail and Race bikes. More soon!

This HeiHei joins the race line mid range, and is prepared to deal with anything from specialized XC courses to the nearby path. One advantage that is incredibly fundamental yet excessively significant for most riders is outline space for a container confine, by examination with the Process go which just permits a jug under the casing.
