This weeks #snapshotsunday is featuring the Kona Rove ST. The Rove ST has a chromoly frame with a SRAM 11-speed drivetrain, with Hayes mechanical brakes. The bike also features a large tyre clearance and fender eyelets, to winterproof your bike easily.
This years Kona CX range feature a lowered bottom bracket to increase stability and aids cornering ability. The Clement tyres also allow the bike to be used on a variety of terrains with grip when needed and minimal drag on the long tarmac miles. In a strange way the bike is difficult to put an age on if you are not up on the Kona range. No garish colours and no over the top components, just a solid CX bike with a decent spec at a reasonable price (RRP £1299). For those looking for a good investment then this is key - it won't go out of fashion any time soon. Overall, if you are looking for a good all rounder CX bike, that can handle some racing and any of the winter coffee shop rides, CX training or the daily commute you throw at it, this bike is more that capable to handle it all! More soon!
